Ball mill is a common crushing equipment in industrial production. It is very important to safely operate the ball mill. In order to facilitate the customer to better understand and use the ball mill, we will introduce the considerations of the ball mill from three aspects:
 
1. Ball mill feeding speed: After adjusting the working parameters of the ball mill to the mining machine, the ore feeding amount of the grinding machine should be kept constant or change within a narrow range. Generally, the wet ball mill is mostly used for control. The amount of water ensures the proper grinding concentration and fineness of the ball mill. The feed of the ball mill must be uniform. With the increase of the ore-feeding speed, the content of qualified fractions in the ball mill grinding machine is reduced, while the absolute number of qualified pellets produced by the ball mill is increasing, the power consumption is reduced, and the grinding efficiency of the ball mill is significantly improved. When the ore properties change, the working conditions of the ball mill grinding machine should be adjusted in time to establish a balance.
 
2. Ball mill pulp concentration: The suitable ball mill grinding concentration should be such that the solid material can move evenly along the surface of the grinding medium, and at the same time facilitate the flow of material from the feed end of the ball mill to the discharge end. If the pulp is too thick, the viscosity will increase, the grinding medium will be affected by buoyancy, the effective density of the ball mill will be smaller, the impact force will be weakened, and even the ball mill ball will be taken out of the ball mill, or the ball mill grid plate will be blocked, and the ball mill production efficiency will drop sharply. . When the ore of the ball mill contains more mud, the viscosity and concentration of the slurry will increase. In order to improve the fluidity and stability of the slurry, the dispersant and the coagulant may be appropriately added without affecting the ball mill beneficiation operation.
 
3, the rotation speed of the ball mill: the current manufacturer's specified speed is about 75%, most of which is below 85%, the ball mill speed is slightly lower, it is difficult to achieve high productivity. According to the experience of production, the ball mill output has been improved to a certain extent by appropriately increasing the rotation speed of the ball mill, but the increase is small, and the energy and the consumption of the liner are very serious, and the vibration of the ball mill is also intensified. Therefore, if you want to control the ball mill, you must start from these three aspects to achieve better and more ideal work efficiency.
